StarquestRescue
Are you going to be making new crossmembers for sale to go with these Montero oil pans? I will have to check this out at the u pull it. Rear sumping a G54B so you don't throw rod bearings on hard launches, therefor making you sleep better at night. I am still working on the hard launches. I thought it was Internet addiction keeping me up at night.

PDX87Starion
The confusing part is "RWD" oil pan conversion. My SQ came RWD from the factory. "Non-turbo" or "truck" oil pan conversion/kit, makes more sense.
Technology
Yeah, the back of the oil pan is above the crossmember by about an inch.
heefner
Unless you seriously modify your cross member this will no worky.

pagemo
Good luck with it! I'll cheat with my accumulator until you figure it out and post the skinny. My plan as well ^ 1.5 Qt Accusump accumulator better protection and much easier in regards to install. if you want better protection from the pan just work on a trap door and wing the sides for more capacity. Maxzillian
Nope, like a 2 quart Accusump oil accumulator. Basically a tank that can store pressurized oil. http://www.maxzillian.com/starion/install4-2.jpg http://www.maxzillian.com/starion/accumulator4.jpg http://www.maxzillian.com/starion/accumulator5.jpg http://www.maxzillian.com/starion/accumulator7.jpg Sorry to hijack a bit, Sam. PDX87Starion
Accusumps are very popular in the road racing scene for those who dont have a drysump system. It is pressurised by the stock oil system and if the pressure goes below a certain PSI it releases its oil keeping the engine lubricated. When the oil pressure comes back the accusump refills and holds the oil and pressure until the next time. Can also be used as a pre-oiler for start up too. Great product for people who are going to drive hard. Launches, donuts, and hard cornering where oil can slosh away from the pick-up. Kudos Maxzillion for installing one.
