Torque Tube Coupling Question

A while back  there was a group purchase topic which I cannot find; it was for a no longer available coupling.

I believe the consensus is that if worn it can cause the rear end clunk that some of us hear.

My question is: is this the same item offered at MKS Motorsports here?  https://mksmotorsport.com/product/pre-order-torque-tube-flange-male-pinion-side/

Below is one of the posts dealing with this issue: In the first picture the part appears to be attached to the differential. Looking at the TT, is there a coupling in there or are the spline part of the TT?

Thanks

Yes. That is the way it works. And you are correct, the male piece for sale on MKS's site bolts to the diff. As far as I am aware there is no solution for the TT side.

Several years back someone, I forget who, was working on trying to have a machine company make new TT's for us, but I believe in the end it just ended up being too costly.
