84germ
Just picked up a stock 84 quest and the previous owner cut a bunch of wires out. Anyone have a stock wiring harness around they are willing to get rid of?

84germ
Thanks man. Do you know how universal these harnesses are?
SuperSnake79
From what I have seen the ECU has changed throughout the years along with the sensors. I would stick to your year up to 86 I would think you would be safe. The aftermarket is not there for these cars, so there is no luck finding a painless wiring harness like you could for a mustang or corvette. tux
You can always trace back to the cuts and splice in new pigtails. For most of the stuff on the car I have been able to 'painfully' source manufacturers of connectors I didn't keep a list, unfortunately Where I could, I have replaced connectors with Deutsch connectors. kev
Which harness? There are many harnesses on our cars. I'm assuming the engine harness? If so, the only other year that 'might' work, emphasizing the might, is an 85. An 83 will not, nor will an 86 or 87-89. Which connectors does it need? Depending on the connector, other year harness may work to splice it in.
