Mix_67
I am 50% thru my microsquirt build. I have all of my wiring sketched out except the ignition wiring. I currently have a MSD6AL with 8910 tach adaptor running on the factory ignitor box. Can someone provide me a good link to data that shows how I can run either fuel only or spark control on the micro while retaining the 6al? tux
I'm not too familiar with the microsquirt, but for what reason would you still need the MSD6AL? I felt that going standalone was a great opportunity to remove my MSD box. The megamanual has instructions to use the 6al - http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/msd6a.htm
psu_Crash
Using the 6AL allows logic level MS outputs to control spark instead of using high current drivers or an ignitor ... etc. Mix, I'm not super familiar with the micro, but I've done a bunch of different setups with MS. Hit me up if you need some advice. I'm not 100% sure what you are trying to do.
tux
Ah, didn't realize it could do that... The box is enormous and I was happy to be rid of it
