lgarbz
On a related note, what is this part? http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o563/lgarbz/IMG_0641_zps2vcdpigz.jpg And what can I eliminate without causing a check engine light and performance issues? Thanks guys. I'll probably have some more pictures up this weekend.
MasterVivi
That part is the vacuum pump, and I believe it's used for cruise control/heater and all that jazz. (and I believe to also help the pcv system work better by pulling air out under boost) If you don't care about the heater/cruise control/ac, you can eliminate it. I've eliminated AC/HEATER/CRUISE CONTROL/ABS/CHARCOAL CANISTER/EGR/SECONDARY AIR BOX. The only vacuum lines I have now are for the BOV, vacuum advance, and boost gauge. lgarbz
The steering gear whines when you turn the steering wheel. Is there a common fix for that, or do I need to replaced the steering gear?
BuGG
That short red wire. That should be a black fuseable link if your running stock alt and stock charge wire.

BuGG
This is an upgraded charge harness. Notice the short blue fusable link. Inside that black box is a stud that connects to one side of the short fusable link. If you have a factory charge harness you need to run the black fuseable link that dad sells. http://www.enginemachineservice.com/ems/parts/conquest/electrical.php http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/Catalog%201/P1011339.jpg
