Fuze
Its pretty cool when you go to a car site and see people BSing about ............cars. I couldnt care less about mustangs. Unless were talkin 80's SVO. Seeing how the 2.3 changes will be cool. Isnt it in the Explorer already? Just curious, if there is any relation between the Ford 2.3 and the Mazda 2.3. I thought they had parted ways but that Mazda 2.3 turbo can make some power.
dmyers151
Not sure about the newest EcoBoost 2.3, but I know the motor that came in the MazdaSpeed3 and Speed6 is Ford. The blocks are stamped FoMoCo.

Interesting Starion swap candidate, hahahaha.
dmyers151
Fueling is the issue. My buddy I share my building with has a built Speed6, ~425 whp. Being direct injected, no one makes injectors for them. So you're limited by the stock setup.
TexasQuest
Different engine. The 2.3 in the Focus/3, Fusion/6 was based on the Duratec engine family.
