kenzie
ok, first of all, I love this site and the info on it! I would not be able to do the things to my car without this resource, and I GREATLY appreciate this site and everyone invloved. Flood Control... holy crap, does it ever go away after I post a certain number of times? What a pain in the butt. if I mistype a word and get zero results, I am forced to wait to search again because of 'flood control' Simple searching is terrible. I was searching 'abs delete', and never got a post named anything to do with it, instead got results about injectors, balancing tires, etc. then after digging through posts in select forums I find a post myself titled .... get this 'abs delete'. ummmm, I would say that might have been a good search result. Other times I search a very common word about our cars and literally get 'zero results'. that makes no sense. I have had way better luck using google.com to search this site instead of using the search box on the site. Any tips out there?does flood control go away eventually? If there is a post about this already, I would have read it, but the search did not work haha

mechengrkj
I'm pretty sure that if you are logged in, there isn't any flood control. I'm always able to correct searches/re-search quickly when I'm logged in.
Malykaii
Im always logged in on my phone and I still get flood control. I type in my search followed by "starquest" so it also searches the other site just in case.
kenzie
yeah, I am logged in when I get flood control. I was wondering if it was because I am new to the board, just like I can only post in certain sections until I have a certain number of posts. google is the way to go
