allen_hammond
I bought this as a parts car and was told the bottom end of the motor is blown, that's all I know. I've stripped as much as I want, and I'll be taking it to the crusher in a week because I need my garage back. I'm keeping most of what I've stripped as spares, so if there is something you need that I've taken off, let me know and we can probably work something out. Here is what I've taken off: brakes, windshield, exhaust from cat back, front wheels, A/C, A/C controls, gauge cluster, interior, hood, hatch, front bumper, rear bumper, front crash bar, rear crash bar, fenders, headlights, tail lights, piece between headlights, intercooler, intercooler piping, radiator, knock sensor, wiper motor, gas tank, 1/4 windows, door windows. Here is what is left: doors with shaved handles, dash (minus gauge cluster & A/C controls), RUST FREE 1/4's, head, turbo, blown block, all wiring harnesses, carpet, 5 speed trans, entire rear end, entire suspension. odometer says 110K. It's a shame to crush it, but I saved it from the crusher before I stripped it, and like I said, I need my garage back. Both tie rods are broken, so moving it is a bit of a complain. we can put the front wheels on it to get it on your trailer, then take them off. A come along or a winch is a must to get it out of the garage and on your trailer. It might even make sense to bring spare tie rods if you have them and we can put them on real quick so moving it will be easier. It's sitting 20 minutes north of Charlotte, NC. It's going to the crusher in a week. Of course this website won't let me upload pictures, so email me at allen.hammond@gmail.com and I can email you pics. Coke
What condition is the front crash bar in?
allen_hammond
Front crash bar looks great. One corner has a bend in it, but it doesn't affect anything.

BandY
I live a mile from Carowinds, so you're not that far from me. I'd love to have this, instead of the crusher, but the upcoming holidays are demanding that I make better decisions. I have two rust free 86s, but the one I drive daily has about 200k in it. If I still had my truck and car trailer, this sale would happen today. lol Yeah, if if if... I hope it gets a home.
allen_hammond
BC_99 has first dibs at it, waiting for him to come look at it. If he doesn't want it, I might be willing to let you take it BandY and pay me later just so it doesn't get crushed. I think I can trust people here, we all hate to see these get crushed. vbrad511
If this could get moved from one owner to the next, and the next, and the next, and eventually make it's way to central Illinois, I'd be more than happy to give it a home.
