speedyquest
BC_99 I get what your saying but t-rex has opened this up to the community and stated it several times he would like feedback on the situation. Here is what I don't get about your side of the story Quik... "Really now I'm blaming you for bending them? This is rediculous,,all I said was they weren't bent when I sent them.So even a dumbtail can assume they were bent in shipping or the person recieveing them." So first you state that your not blaming him, but in your last sentence you give two possible explanations... either A. They were damaged in shipping - If that is the case then which shipping? Yours? His?B. That he damaged them while he had possession of them - Which you just said before you where not trying to imply. Add to the fact that you refuse to show the man what condition they showed back up at your place after he shipped them, let alone your entirely blowing off his questions about what condition the packaging was in when you received it makes it seem very much like your being defensive and not working with a guy who just wants to not get ripped off. Then this... "The rims are damaged period ,,I don't care how they got damaged. They just are. Again I told you up front that I wouldn't give a refund unless I get the wheels in asGood a shape as I sent them to you. I'm not saying your a crook,,all I'm doing is stating the "obvious". They were damagedIn shipping or you did. It's cut and dry.If you didn't ,,,like you said. Then they were obviously damaged in shipping.Again either way "they were damaged" and are getting fixed. " So I'm wondering to myself what is the guy supposed to do? Your essentially telling the guy that regardless of who / what damaged the rims that he is going to be paying for it. You haven't attempted to take steps to ensure IF it was shipper damage that one of you could recoup expenses for the damage. Your simply screwing the guy. As much as some of you may be reading this and thinking I'm just trying to start drama or a fight, I'm just trying to point out the obvious and maybe help a guy who has clearly shown he has tried to work with Quik to fix this situation regardless of who is at fault and received nothing but resistance. I could care less about drama or fighting. I just want to see things put right. Allen Edited September 18, 2013 by speedyquest

t-rexn8
ucw458, Sorry about the small text, I archived the conversation and that is the only way I could figure out how to repost. I will try to update this thread later with the conversation re-sized larger. Regards, Nate
gtxthunder
So the buyer is expected to pay for the damaged wheels to be fixed? How could one possibly think that is fair or the right thing to do?
t-rexn8
Hey guys, First, thank you all for taking the time to review and weigh in on this situation, I greatly appreciate everyones opinion here and I realize this is not the most pleasant topic. I am not trying to make this more difficult than needed, however especially after receiving several supporting PM's I realize that I am doing the right thing for the community and even if this effects how much money I get back it is worth it to me to inform other potential buyers on something that may very well save a lot of people a lot of money and more importantly time and headaches. I took some time off work and updated the original conversation on the first page. The text is larger and everyone should be able to read it now. t-rexn8
It's really hard to tell. The pics he had in the for sale thread were with the tires mounted and seem to have some glare. If you read the messages though he later admits to finding more damage after he removed the tires but immediately shipped them to me without letting me know of the new damages he discovered. are the wheels you received the same wheels in the posted pics and the set that you both agreed to ? creakyjoints
So the buyer is expected to pay for the damaged wheels to be fixed? How could one possibly think that is fair or the right thing to do? I payed basically the same for a set in better shape and new tires!

t-rexn8
The front wheels have bent barrels, I do not think you understand. You can make the lips straight all you want, any half-decent wheel shop can do that. You cannot however repair a bent barrel which is what makes those front wheels unusable as they will vibrate on the highway at higher speeds. I am so tired of dealing with a shady person like you and frankly you can take the money and your wheels, you must need the money more than I do to be pulling such scams. Hope you are happy with yourself. Nate
quikconq
What is this scam you talk of? I will send the repair shops card explaining what he did to get the wheels Within spec. I paid for them to get fixed. Wheels will be shipped tomorrow afternoon.Case closed.
t-rexn8
You only answer the questions you want to answer, you provide zero evidence or pictures, you tell me you will be giving me a partial refund after "repairs" and "shipping and handling" then you decide to pay for the repairs and pay to ship them back to me??? That just makes a whole lot of sense??? Wow! Thank you for teaching me a hard lesson. I was stupid to trust you and I will never make the same mistake with you or anyone else. Enjoy The $1000.00 you deceptively took from me.
Fuze
Regardless of the case, item or service... Rule #1: Never pay as a gift in Paypal! It removes all your rights. Pay the extra couple bucks in fees. The end.
