I picked up a 89 SHP TSI automatic out of Missouri and after two months of tinkering she's on the road! Looking at a 87 ESI-R also, it's a manual and I think would be nice to own one two! These cars are so much fun!

Good job tinkering...let's see some pics!

My replacement radiator doesn't have holes in which to screw in thermo switch.. How can I manually or automatically get my fans to kick on?

You can get a e-fan kit from most autoparts stores that will have a type of thermo switch that doesn't have to be mounted into bung holes like the stock ones. It would probably be better to pull the radiator and adding the bungs back in. If you have ever sweated plumbing, you can do it.

It looked like crap when I found it... had a buddy paint & polish wheels, valve cover, turbo heat shield, ovc pipe, and got the cone filter. Had to replace radiator.. deleted the a/c. It's been fun! I'm going to get more pics of the Starion tomorrow
