It's no different as to what you did in responding to my reply I posted what I thought was correct, and you did the same. If you have the money to do this sort of thing...fine. I don't, Nor do most other SQC members. Helping with Troubleshooting questions is one thing.......Spending money on doing a Carfax search for a SQC member is another. But did you just pay the Carfax fee for yourself to look up information, or for someone elses benefit??? This sort of thing also goes into SQC Members downloading the FSM to obtain information on fixing their cars. Yes, on modifications, The information is not available. But, for simple Virtual Mechanic questions....It is. I have given the Website over the years to many SQC Members so they could look up the information for themselves. http://www.starquestgarage.com What kind of responses have I received back? Here's a couple of examples: " Why should I do research when I can just ask"....and " I'm sitting in my house in my underware and it's too cold outside for me to go to the garage to look" Hell, I have to do the research to answer your questions....Why can't you? I'm trying to give you the tools so you can help yourself and perhaps others in the future. After all, the older, experienced members on this site are not going to be around forever. Do you want to own a car that is from 23 to 30 years old???? Listen to members who have owned these cars for a long time. And start doing some research into them. Hell, I might as well start asking SQC members for a Carfax on ALL my vehicles.lol. If you need help with your Starquest, fine. When you start asking for a Carfax about a Chevy Truck........???? To me, that only takes up space that could be better served by Starquest questions or pure B.S.Posts. Most, if not all posts in the B.S. Forum do not ask members to spend money to look up information on a Chevy Truck. After all, They do have Chevy Truck Forums on the web. SQC has had problems with data overload.
