StarquestRescue
What are you calling launch control? To me it means a system that can controller timing, boost and rpm. And than ramp the power in as traction allows. That pretty much takes a stand alone ecu system. The most sophisticated systems employ traction control as well. A msd ignition with a two step rev limiter can be installed. But if you are thinking of a system to control the timing at launch, that takes a stand alone ecu. Make the power first, than buy some good drag radials.
scott87star
Lots of guys are running launch control, I've personally set up at least a dozen MS or FIP systems for launch control. As SQR says, they are stand alone fuel/ignition controllers with launch control option which allows for programming all the rpm limits, timing retard and spark/fuel cut to optimize your requirements. StarquestRescue
I recommend using the 8910 adapter. http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58296
Funky Phil
yes, buy either an MSD 6AL2 (programmable or non-programmable) Or an older MSD 6AL box with a 2 step control. Those will do it for you. then get a tach adapter and wire it up
