Xtreme Industries
you can get 2 headed printers that will print with two different colors at the same time. they are relatively affordable as well. I believe for 2000 or less you can get a 12x12 3d printer. but the medium will just keep costing you and you need to know ho to model the 3d object with accuracy. creakyjoints
Koenigsegg makes the exhaust tip and turbine housings on the ONE using a printer. So I assume parts can be made to be durable. Sure those machines are way more money though.

There's a learning curve to get consistent with the models so you're not wasting material constantly. Koenigsegg makes the exhaust tip and turbine housings on the ONE using a printer. There are super high end machines that can print in metal nowadays, the things they can do are unbelievable.

Xtreme Industries
my car was missing that little cover. I hope 3d printing works good for that. I am sure there are plenty missing since they get brittle.
