infamos
I eventually need to replace my fuel pump on my 87 Conquest. What are your recommendations? Is it a direct replacement? I see a lot of threads mentioning the Walbro fuel pump. Is this a direct replacement and does it really make a difference? Reason being is that I just got off the phone with Summit and they didn't show a Walbro 255 lph for a Chrysler Conquest. If you have insight, can you send me the exact part number and if it's a direct bolt on or does it require modifications. Thanks...
TexasQuest
You have to get a harness kit for it to plug into our electrical connector I believe.
wolfsquest
You're not gonna find a lot of parts for our cars @ Summit, but a lot of auto parts places have the Walbro f.p. check out Advance, auto zone, an O'reillys.

Skippy
The Bosch 4044 (I believe) has been recommended to me as well. I personally have not done the swap yet, but will eventually. It would be good to swap out your filters (inline and tank) and check your tank for rust/sludge (being you need to drop it) as well as your fill pipe to make sure all is clean at the time.
