Frenchi934
v160 is a nice transmission, but in my opinion its not worth the price difference.
strang3majik
R154 is a very very common swap in the old mopars...mostly a-bodies since thats what small blocks were most common in.

yzrider
saw a magazine article about a budget build on a 340 dart, intake mani, carb, and headers and pretty sure only couple other tweaks and was in the 12s. love how they sound too!
strang3majik
360 is a great engine, just got a bad rep because it was a smog motor with low compression...but, that's why they increased the displacement, to make up for the loss in power...lol Put some high compression pistons in one of them or throw one of them air stuffer devices on it and you've got a helluva motor. And the magnum series engines...love them. Never had an issue and man do they run. Oh...and great work....looks awesome! Fuze
Flatblack87, you need your own TV show. Maybe you and Convette could build V8 Starions on Spike TV. The work looks amazing, the car sounds so raucous I got a chubby just listening to it! AWESOME THREAD. Edited May 9, 2012 by Fuze
