Mingo1
Its a trans from a 04 to 06 Kia Sorento. Bolts right up but its kinda bulky. I don't know how it will fit in an automatic starquest but I know in my 5spd there is gonna be a little massaging. I need to go over where the car is at on take more pics. I bought this engine about a year ago and just recently really started turning wrenches with it. I just ordered my throttle body and having a flange welded on the intake for the tb and having it polished. My buddy TurboRic from www.racingmazda.com is gonna wire up the car and do all the tuning. Motor is stock for now but will change once everything is in and all bugs are worked out.

Mingo1
Oil pan touches a little but gonna slot motor mount to give the room needed. Once the engine bay is done all the wiring is gonna get taken care of. Electromotive tec3r

DJpowerHaus
Is it the RWD oil pan or the 3S pan that is rubbing?
Bill Hincher
the original starter motor arriangement on all these starters are just two bolts, I have changed that to use all 4 bolts to attach the starter to the sandwich platehttp://www.billsautofab.com/images/6G72adapterC4bellhousing110.JPG http://www.billsautofab.com/images/6G72adapterC4bellhousing114.JPGbecause of weight and drafting considerations, I knew a plate would have to be placed in the starter placement so a bolt could be attached to the rear of the starter motorhttp://www.billsautofab.com/images/6G72adapterC4bellhousing116.JPG http://www.billsautofab.com/images/6G72adapterC4bellhousing117.JPG Edited January 25, 2012 by Bill Hincher
