JrockTSI
I just bought 2 injectors off ebay. They both are black, one is marked J2 x-1 and the other is marked J59-2. Which is primary/secondary? Where do they go? Are they even the right injectors?
Indiana
Sounds like you ordered those thinking they would work in an 87+ fuel system. They won't. Here's a summary of the injectors.... Injector id83 is hard wired 84-85 is "H", part #MD60 890985.5-86 is "J", part#MD61 4004 ( this is after 12/84 )87-89 primary is "L", part#MD61 403687-89 secondary is "M", part#MD61 4102 83-86 have the same size nozzle87+ Primary injectors are smaller than the 83-86 injectors87+ Secondary injectors have the largest nozzle opening, its about double the size of the primary Left to right, K, H, J, L, M, M The M appears blue or green depending on its age and how it was exposted to heat that's why I pictured both side by side. The K is for a 1.6 turbo Colt and has no use in a Starion you can tell just look at its TINY nozzle opening. There's a B injector, its similar in size to an L but it was for a 2.4 Galant in a throttlebody that only used one injector. http://www.b2600turbo.com/images/inject1.jpg http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/281899_1456036579085_1778479606_712622_4077066_n.jpghttp://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/267879_1456037299103_1778479606_712624_4957319_n.jpghttp://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/283936_1480833478992_1778479606_741574_6137979_n.jpghttp://www.b2600turbo.com/images/14-13.jpg Edited September 27, 2011 by Indiana

Can I run on these injectors until I get the right ones? There seems to be nothing wrong. Shes not cutting off on me anymore. Where would you recommend to buy new injectors? Indiana
Your car is an 87+? Have you tried to have your injectors cleaned? Were they stuck, leaking or what?
Caliber308
Like Indy asked, Do you own a 87 to 89? I like to use aftermarket ones. Most stock Injectors are junk by now after 20 some odd years.(Yes, I even tried having them cleaned. They worked for two weeks  ) Here is where I got mine from: http://www.fuelinjectorconnection.com. I would call them and ask to speak with Jon Banner (he owns the company) 1-770-888-1662 Tell him Caliber308 from SQC referred you. JrockTSI
So I put in my old injectors with new seals and she's runnin soooo much better, but I still have a fuel issues. I'm almost positive i need new fuel filters because randomly she'll try and cut off until i pump the gas pedal and finally the fuel will flow through, if I let the pedal go it'll cut off until i start pumping it again then she'll run fine until she randomly decides to do it again. Where can I by the exact fuel fiters that I need for my 89 conquest?
