Indiana Posted July 5, 2011 Report Share Posted July 5, 2011 If you didn't take the throttlebody apart and it ran before then likely you just put the throttle cable back on and its too tight. The cable has to be sloppy loose at idle so you can make sure that contact tip switch gets mashed closed that's on the end of the idle motor. I've also seen the arm bent but someone has to have done that on purpose and it might prevent it from mashing that switch closed even with the cable off. Did you plug the MAF in?
