ESI-Ron Posted April 13, 2011 Report Share Posted April 13, 2011 I am looking to sell my 86 Starion ESI-R. It is white with maroon leather interior and 5 speed. I am the original owner. Car has been parked for six years in my garage waiting for an engine rebuild and I've realized it's not going to happen any time soon. It has not been started since I parked it. It is stock except for the HKS exhaust which has a hole in the muffler. I moved to Harrisburg, PA in 2005 and the car failed inspection because of the muffler. I made the decision to park it and do an engine rebuild before putting in a new exhaust, but never got that far due to lack of funds. It has 118k miles and the interior is immaculate. I have a complete jet valve head and all the gaskets to do the top end. I am asking for $1250 for everything or $900 without the additional top end parts. I have an extensive file of photos. I forgot to mention that the car has a brand new clutch with less than 150 miles on it. I am dropping the price to $850 for everything. Once again, I have an extensive set of pics of the car. nomad Posted November 13, 2011 Report Share Posted November 13, 2011 Wow, the difference between a one owner Starion and all the other mules that have been passed around to 5-7 different owners is huge. That car is so clean, nothing hacked up or screwed with.With rebuilt engine ( around $1500) that car would easily bring $4000-$4500 in my mind.
