Ive had this car for a good while now, probably a year or two. But, its always been on the backburner for one reason or another. But with me getting rid of my fiji car, I figured Id want something to have a little fun in, and since I had this car and almost all the parts I need already purchased, I figured why not :)

These are from when I got the car. The car will need paint, but it is rust free and has a very straight body. The tan interior is in pretty decent shape too :) I bought it with the motor somewhat taken apart for a V8 swap. I put it back together and it ran, but smoked like a freight train. So the motor came out for a rebuild. That has not happened yet, unfortunately. So Im putting a motor in from a parts car that ran but had a blown head gasket. This is not going to be a long term solution, just gonna give me something to putt around in until then. The plans are to keep it stock, but run a bigger intercooler, hardpipes, exhaust, MAF-T and a 12a at 15 pounds :)

The motor Im building is probably going to be a stock bottom end, ported head with a schnieder cam, and an 18G.

Here it is in the garage getting the cut springs replaced

VERY Nice looking car. I love those wheels! Keep up the good work, i cant wait to see the finished project.

Which ones? I remember this car when it was for sale and looked back and forth at the photos the first time.

Good luck with the restore.

The motor is in! Finally.. It sucks not having any time to work on it. As you can see I have a thing or two to bolt up to the motor still.. Lol. But progress is a good thing, no matter how much it is ;)

I have been meaning to update this. The car is running now, and all seems to be well except for a bit of a tapping noise in the valve train. Still trying to sort that one out. I had really bad smoking issues, which would up only being a bad turbo. I tried 2 different 12A's I have with no shaftplay or evidence of oil coming out of the compressor housing, but they leaked oil bad. Ive put an 18G on I had in the garage and it seems to be much better. I have driven the car down the driveway and its idled for maybe 30 or 40 mins total now. Ive got quite a few kinks to work out though, and its hard to find time between school, work, and the fact that its bitterly cold haha. Im hoping to have it on the road and inspected before Christmas. Ill try to update with some pics in the meantime ;)
