Convette
So do I, this is what I've done so far. Theres no mounting kits, and depending on where you put the motor it get complicated. I'm not done yet, but should be sometime late next month. enjoy http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=92145&st=

freebird
these ls1's actually fit nicer than the 1st gen sbc blocks. The hard part is the oil pan and headers. oil pan is from the gto which can be 400+This guy has one for sale in which the thread has some helpful pics of the swap. http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=97593
TopDawg_43
Awesome is there a mounting kit for it? Ive alrady decieded Im not cutting the body. I hope your car is an automatic. The tranny tunnel is bigger on an auto. And given the size of a T56, you are going to need the extra room. Although, it can fit in a manual tranny tunnel, with some massaging. TopDawg_43
The hard part is the oil pan and headers. oil pan is from the gto which can be 400+ When CinQuest built his car, he used a set of Vette manifolds, and turned them backwards. But then again, he turboed his car.
