so i may be able to get some custom tires engineered specifically to our cars by one of the big tire companies Toyo Pirelli etc. but before i really get into it i will need to know what people want. i was thinking something like stock sizes 225 and 205 50 and 55 so that they will fit most peoples rims and more of a track tire semi slicks something you can still use on the road but very grippe for the track. let me know your opinion and i will get this started.

Yeah little "stock" sizes are avalable in almost anything you want. It's hard to find wide tires for 16" rims. Most tire manufactures I know perelli for sure has quit making anything wider then a 225 for 16" rims. You have to go to 17" or larger to get your choice of sizes.

Sorry to be a buzzkill... but reality says that no tire company is going to run a few sets of custom one-off tires for a reasonable price.

I just dont think this could be a possibility...sorry. But I wont feel bad if you prove me wrong.

I'd like to see a re-creation of the OEM rim in 17" or 18" flavor... that would resolve the lack of tire choices for our cars. I think 101Propose had a CAD drawing posted somewhere on this site.

I remember that wasn't it gonna cost like 2k per set or something?

17 or 18 and wider 8" or 9" for the front whatever fits best and allows for aggresive suspension and definalty like a 9"-12" out back with a deeper lips would be hot. Depending on price and especialy keeping the weight down, you have my intrest.

^ You want to go from a single stager to a double stager? It's not a min truck :P

I had a 944 with 17x8 front and 18x10 rear and it looked perfect...Most Ferraris, Lambos and Porsches are step staggered...Its a Euro thing...I am trying to keep my starquest rice free if I can...

alright well i will try and see how much it will cost to get them done and im thinking it would be a good idea to redesign the spokes so that they still look almost the same but have some way of sucking air into the breaks to cool them
