Fanta was supposed to be on the case but well....it's Fanta we're talking about Anyways, it appears to be Saturday Sept.4, 2010, at Mary ALice Park in Cumming, GA 30040 (on Lake Lanier). We have gone to this event several times and had a big turnout last year. It's for 85 and older vehicles, but since the SQ started production in 83 we are accepted due to continued production models. It was a blast last year and there are some sick old imports there. Here's a link to the last one....I think we had 10-12 SQ's show by the end. 2009 Meet Anyways, I have a few messages in with the organizers and I have spoken to some of the locals personally. pure_insanity Posted September 4, 2010 Report Share Posted September 4, 2010 ok, it looks like this meet is sort of unofficially cancelled. from what i understand one of the guys behind the meet isnt even going to show up. seems like some people may still go and hang out but it will be a limited turnout. with that said im gonna make plans to go other directions, so if any of you guys are coming, you have my numbers, so get in touch with me and id still like to get together with you guys if possible. The organization was lacking for this particular meet, which is normally a great one. Hopefully the regulars from the Old School group show...we'll see. jonboyb Posted September 7, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 7, 2010 (edited) We ended up spending way more time at the dyno than planned, and turned up a member short due to a sick son, so we decided to forego the meet and go to lunch Couth and I ended up shredding a little asphalt in the MPI car and sharing MS files for his build. Fun day all the same. Rumor has it that the meet did happen but I haven't seen the pics yet.
