Boosted_One
HOMEPAGE: http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ DIRECT LINK: http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/html/ext_pump.html PART NUMBERS,  CURRENT PRICE AND HP ESTIMATES  (3/03) GSL391    190LPH EXTERNAL STANDARD PRESSURE  $130  ~400 HP GSL392    255LPH EXTERNAL HIGH PRESSURE      $140  ~525+ HP Install kits and fuel pump dyno runs  are also available on the link listed above. Just a FYI... Since I will be replacing the pump I am also installing a larger feed line to help feed my MPI and 75lb injectors. I will be using the -8AN fitting available with the Walbro pump and upgrading the fuel line to -8. Something one might want to consider for their particular set ups. Here's some part numbers from Jegs to upgrade your fuel line. 799-632140 20 FT SS braided line $97.99 361-171008 clamps 5/pkg $9.69 023-FCM2184 -8 to -8 fuel pressure gauge fitting you'll need some misc. fittings for the fuel rail end and the fuel pressure gauge ends. the fuel pressure gauge fitting allows you to install an electric fuel pressure sender for your fuel pressure gauge. If you order the Walbro and you get the -8 fitting available for it you can use the above numbers to string together a new larger fuel line. conquest89
Incorrect You can't use any of those pumps you listed unless you completely mod your tank for an intake pump. Starions use external inline pumps. So, with the first two listed GSL391 190LPH EXTERNAL STANDARD PRESSURE $130 ~400 HP GSL392 255LPH EXTERNAL HIGH PRESSURE $140 ~525+ HP Are these basic drop in with a fitting change style pumps like the master 2315 ? Also, is it better off to just get the 255lph pump to be safe? or would that cuase problems ?
Neo_Xian_Wu
the 255lph wouldn't cause a rich condition would it? basically it would provide more fuel if the injectors needed it or if you used sumthin such as an s-afc or sumthin to boost the amount of fuel used, right?
DJpowerHaus
running the larger pump will not cause a rich condition because the pressure that it creates will be bled off by the fuel pressure regulator. If you increase the fuel pressure regulator's pressure then you may see more fuel to the injectors and motor.
artinist
the larger pumps do not cause rich conditions during idle like the 3000GTs. our return system is large enought to accomidate very large pumps. just get the 255lph pump. and a cheaper place to get them is: www.importpoweronline.com GSL 392 w/ Kit #939 $120 GSL 392 $
Neo_Xian_Wu
would that pump and kit replace the stock with no mods? i've never replaced a fuel pump and i mean, you can't really beat that price, so i figure, why the hell not?
artinist
pretty much. all you have to do is cut the stock fuel line and connect it to the fuel pump on its outlet side. make sure to clamp it down nicely. the pick up side goes right on. BuGG
This kit wont work. The barbed fittings need to be 8mm and 12mm. The ones in this kit are the same. Buy hi skit if you need the straps and pump wrap but the fitting wont work. BuGG

Professor Quest
Sorry guys! But when the Professor walks up to the chalk-board..............he ALWAYS wipes it CLEAN. At first I had "BARBS ON THE BRAIN". Then Bugg suggested a site that showed fittings. Then I realized............WHY NOT DO IT LIKE THE FACTORY DID? Sure enough.....................they do make the RIGHT KIT FOR THE RIGHT FITTINGS FOR OUR CARS!!! 400-952 And like Ron at APEUSA said.............The real trick is getting the right GASKET/WASHERS to work with our "SPECIAL NUT". And I don't think ANYBODY can beat Ron's prices. We have ourselves one hell of a new member. And if you want to run with AN stuff............just tell Ron. That idea crossed my mind until Ron told me about the 400-952. Having that kit makes this a "BOLT-IN" just like a stock fuel pump. ;D
