Kenneth
Here is this, just want to build a torque monster for the woods and mud, no crazy HP #'s and no crazy $$$ wasting here either, just basic and good parts gathering to make it last and be trouble free. By the way not my first BBQ with the G54B lol This is the rig, cheap and straight OEM Paint and no rust whatsoever never abused.

Kenneth
By the way it is a 5 speed 4x4 OK here goes the story on this,,, Got it with a sling rod, When i inspect it, it got no holes on the block so i said good, took it apart, and find lots of work has being done to the engine, balance shaft eliminating kit head has being replaced for a marnal one with no MCA s*** and mechanical rockers but the #3 rod for some reason loose its cap cuz one of the nuts fell (awesomely torqued down) and it goes south, piston smash the valves and stays up so block wasnt damage whatsoever, but rod took its toll on the crankshaft, All the other bearings where perfect, is a shame a flaky tech cause the dead of this engine, also found that the oil pump gasket was disintegrated and it showed signs of spewing oil around so oil pressure shouldn't be the best at all, So i deside to give it a try to play a little on this, and buy a set of Stainless Valves from Randy "DAD's" as wel as a used good Crank,

tsi_tom
Looks like your well on your way. Looks like a G54B crank. Was the crank cut? I know you said you used cranks without nitride so I am interested to see how this one goes.
Kenneth
Yes it is a G54B 2.6 and yes i do have used non nitraded crank before on many different cars from drag racers to street driven ones not a issue caused by that whatsoever. and trust me i have being at more than 540 WHP on cranks with no nitrade, this crank will be cut to 10-10. and anyway i got many good parts but this built is not gonna be a high HP build whatsoever, more like a high torque low rpm engine, actually what kill em is the long rod + high rpm's, not easy for them. Chromedome
Kenneth, a couple questions about the carb. Is that a 350 or 500 cfm and are you planning on boost referencing the power valve or running it stock?
Kenneth
Well no i actually block the Powervalve and go with jet changes only it is a 500cfm carb by the way but it has being sold to a customer and i got the turbo for sale too as i will going to do it N/A better, for what i need it make no sense for me to go all balls out on this and save some $$$ on the process.
