Silver87 Posted June 28, 2008 Report Share Posted June 28, 2008 (edited) 1984 Starion ES - 123612 miles - working VELNAS - factory mud flaps - 5spd - 4 lug - factory LSD The turbo has been swapped out for a watercooled unit, but has no water lines. Installed a rebuilt P/S pump and a new fuel pump. Car has no radio or antenna. Gas gauge does not read proper level. It had been t-boned in the passenger door at some point in time. the door has been replaced and I can only assume the frame is still straight as the car drives stright. Some body-rot around the rear fender wells and driver's door bottom. Starts and runs, however the alternator doesn't seem to be working. Battery not included. Car does not have current tags and needs a smog. Being sold AS IS. I have too many projects and not enough space, time and money for all of them. Asking $500 or best offer. If it doesn't sell by the end of July it'll either go to the junk yard or the local fire department for vehicle extrication practice. Neither are a fitting end for this car, but it needs to go away. If we brought an alternator would you let us work on it at your house? You can swap the alternator after you buy the car, sure. Bring a battery too. Not to scare you off or nothing, but there is the possibility that the alternator is fine and its something else. I don't have the time to pull the alt and check it myself.
