Well all she needed was a jump. Fired right up, made good pressures, and idled as good as it ever did. Made it about 3 miles home and now it needs 2 years dirt cleaned off the plastidip. Looking forward to getting it back out and on the road, and maybe even hit a few Auto-x this year.

Good to see you back around. Sounds like our last few years have been about the same with kids and what not. I'm going to start working on my 84 again this year and try to get it back on the road.

Well the car made it the 70mile round trip to work and back with no issues. Even took it for a 5 mile interstate run over lunch break.

Really make you realize how big modern cars are when you drive one of these old cars in traffic.

I have to figure out how to post pics again since my Photobucket of old is long gone.

Use Imgur for image hosting. It's free and pretty easy to use.

Hey now I'm back in the photo game.

Posted Image

Got an oil change done on lunch today. (work from home benefits). Also got the tabs on the hatch struts cleaned up and shimmed out with some zipties to get the rear wiper working.

Need to get some good sunshine to see if I can get the old auto-x magnets to flatten back out so I can use them this weekend.

Made it to my first auto-x event in a long time. Driver is rusty, rear shocks appear blown, and the tires are well past their prime. I didn't get the times that i wanted but had a ton of fun doing it. I will be starting another topic about autox setups to get some insight on some parts upgrades and alignment settings.

I ended up with 2.5 degrees of camber in the front and 1.8 in the rear. Car was neutral maybe favoring oversteer. Tires are 8 years old so there is plenty left in the car if I can get it to the ground.
