300zx Hood Vents
By sanitariumite,
Ok, normally i'm all about originality, and not copying somebody elses idea, but i LOVE the way that the hood vent looks in JAinsworth's signature pic. So once i get the actual hood vent (1 only for the passenger side of the hood) what all do i need to do to put it in the hood? For that matter, how do i go about taking it out of the hood of the 300zx at the junkyard? Thanks Adam
Cowl hood
By Star_V8_Quest,
I bought this off ebay.Guy took 2 hoods and made this one.The cowl is 4 inches....enough to clear my carb on my v8quest without a hole being cut into the hood. The hood still has some work to be done but its not much. I couldnt resist buying it,instead of a fiberglass cowl, this one is all steel...one of a kind...i guess..never seen anyone else with one. http://www.2.6liter.com/userfiles/Drazz/v8quest/cowlhood1.jpg http://www.2.6liter.com/userfiles/Drazz/v8quest/cowlhood.jpg

These lines replace the banjo's and use 2- 45's...and 2-90's and adapters needed, and they each go straight from ports off the block to cooler as direct replacement. The lines are already assembled by me. They are good for anyth
Problem with primer
By Briman2021,
I am fixing a dent with some bondo, and I hammered the dent out as best I could, then finished with bondo, and sprayed with some primer after the bondo had a day to cure. Then I noticed some light spots in the primer, so I shot on a second coat. Now there are small "cracks" in the primer, not over the bondo, but over the metal of the fender, it looks like mud that dried up. I tried to sand it and it came off in chunks making the whole thing worse. What exactly happened and what can I do
