So I'm working on a couple of systems, one for myself, and I opened up an 87 ECU to find THE NICEST LOOKING ECU EVER! I mean this thing is pristine, no dust or dirt or puked electrolytic capacitor. It's off my 87 flatty that was an Arizona car.     http://picturehosting.com/images/oblique9881/pristineboard.jpg         And I'm looking at this thinking, wow, it is almost a shame to cut this thing up. So before I do I grab another 87 ECU for the next system, take of the lid and IT'S EVEN NICER!

bunch of noise from the motor no oil pressure. runs good still.. just making noises so I shut off immediately. thinking balance shafts or oil pump seemed to run good still before I shut it down. can anyone here describe what its like when the balance shafts go out? never had this issue before. looking at doing a rebuild. sucks...I wanted to enjoy it for awhile before rebuilding this one. gonna go take it apart see what I find in the mean time.
