I:m pretty sure I got everything I needed for my distributorless ignition. I snagged everything off the escort, but damn it took me a while to collect it hehe.  I have the sensor, the pully and trigger toothed wheel, which I need to figure out ohw to get off, the edis module, and coil pack. Okay, I apologize in advance for not posting this in the 'how-to' or w/e appropriate place it should be.... but....   My headlights have NEVER failed to retract (go to sleep).   However, I was playing a joke on my buddy who has a Daytona (notorious for stuck headlight actuators) and I pressed my 'lights-up' (top-most right) button, and shut the car off.   Well now, my lights won't retract on their own!!!  But alas, I have found a temporary fix.   I found, that by pressing the 'lights-off' bu

well my car still has an idle problem that i cannot figure out. it has to be in the wiring harness( a short, melted wire or a relay) instead of paying a shop or the dealer 100's of dollars to fix this old tbi setup i wanna upgrade to mpi. my question is this. When you do so do you eliminate the use of the vehicles ecu and mas? i'm thinking about the hurricane 4 set up. do you just not use the vehicles wiring harness? and just tap into the oxygen sensor.  Will this hopefully solve my idle problem
