    Flex Fan vs. Clutch vs. Electrical

    I always heard that having a clutch fan in these cars was the best way to go, so some time ago I bought a flex fan. I never installed it because at the time I was told I needed a fan shroud, even though in many other cars, whenever I see a flex fan, its never with a shroud.   Currently have stock electrical fans, looking to eliminate them. Car is 88, can I easily install a flex fan without a shroud? I'm trying to get my hands on a shroud from a local member here, but do I really need one and how

    i am trying to buy a 87 conquest tsi. the car has been sitting for a long time. the shop owner said that the car was running when it was parked over 7 yrs ago. i have good mechanical skills so engine work wont be to much of a problem for me. also, the body is in great condition and the interior is ok. my plan is to see if the car starts. if the engine is seized, i am going to offer him $500 for the body, if it turns but wont start, then i am going to offer him $800, if it starts then im going to

    There was a guy years ago that made a led red and green light with a pigtail in a little nice grey box to check our ecu pin outs with the blinking light system.I had one for several years and lost it in one of my moves.Does anybody remember who he was thats been here along time.Its probably been 12 years or so.

    Just ordered 6 windsheild wipers ( 4 front 2 rear ) for 28.02... Just sharing a good deal IMO.
