By quest4me2,
thanks to Professor Quest....following his tips and know-how, i rebuilt my 87 tranny with new bearings , syncros, and a new hardened bearing retainer.....i also added a nice MK-1 short shifter (awesome feel...best upgrade yet)....shifts like butter with 75w-90 coastal brand GL-5.....i know i know.....the GL-5, GL-4 debate is coming.....im sticking GL-5 for now...... i did it at home with with no press, just heat to remove bearing and typical pullers...it is quite a puzzle, but go slow, lay eve

Why Mitsubishi is dooooomed! (at least from a performance standpoint)
By Threedoor,
Why Mitsubishi is dooooomed! Mitsubishi has never understood the idea of the HP wars when it comes to performance cars. The last time they actually made major improvements incrementally over time on a specific performance car was the Starion back in the 1980’s. Data on non-Mitsubishi cars is mostly wiki data... take with large doses of salt, not just a grain! Low Dollar Ford Mustang, Chevy Camaro, and Mitsubishi Starion and Eclipse ---------------- 1983 Ford Mustang --- Carbureted 3.8
