    flywheel dow pins

    I am putting in a new motor, and had bought a used flywheel and had it lightened and balanced. Today, I went to bolt it on and noticed that the new motor has a dow pin in the crank where the flywheel bolts up but the flywheel doesn't have a spot in it for a dow pin. Also, the flywheel on the old motor has three small dow pins for the pressure plate but my new one does not. All the bolt holes on the flywheel line up to the ones on the crank though. Do I need those dow pins? Is this a flywheel fro

    Just got my new clutch installed, car's running well and I was on my way home. There was this volvo wagon, the newish squared-off one with bigger exhaust tips and all blacked out, the only badge was "R" on the back. I went by him, switched lanes in a reckless manner, and he followed me. I got over one lane and he started getting next to me, and gave a couple stabs of the gas to make his BOV go off, haha.     I just got the car back together this morning after installing a good '89 transmission. I also installed this ACT six-puck sprung hub disc and pressure plate. Using the alignment tool, everything was lined up well, getting the trans attached was difficult, but I only had it go in smoothly once, and that was after fiddling with it for a while. Anyway, I had to weld a nut to the bushing on the pedal so I could get more adjustment and get the engagement point off the floor.   I was expecting lots o
