So... I FINALLY got enough extra saved cash to buy my cylinder head, which was the biggest reason my car was down. Out of the box, ready to bolt up.... Remachining 87 flywheel for 240mm clutch

I was trying to find a local shop to lighten my 89 flywheel but no one can/wants to. I did find one shop that said they would look at my already lightened 87 and see if they can redrill it to accept the 240mm clutch. I just have a few questions before I take it in. 1. Should I have them drill the hole for the crank dowel? My crank doesn't currently have it (donor engine im building is out of an 87) but i figured i might as well put it in while im getting it drilled. 2. What size should t
Big Brake System

Been contemplating an upgrade to a bigger brake system. Not sure the advantages of sticking w/ a system such as 12" that is suppose to fit w/ stock size rims, or go a bit bigger; & have to also upgrade to larger after market wheels? I am get'n concerned that it is get'n harder & harder to have much choice in tires, especially size ranges for our 16" wheels, so a real advantage would be a much greater variety in tires upgrading to 17's/18's.
