I have wondered this for a long time and thought it was time to find out. A few days ago I installed my second MK1 airdam and had the same issues as the first time around. The mounting holes in the air dam line up great under the bumper but the 2 mounting points closest to the tires under each fender are way off. The lines of the air dam fit well with the rest of the car but those 2 mounting holes are in no way ever going to work for me. I got it on there, but zip ties and "custom brackets" don'

So my ecu has been flashing me a code 7 for the coolant temp sensor. I just replaced the sensor today and its still flashing the code. I've check everything I could think of so now I need your help to track down this problem and solve it.
