Gas guage falure.

So i am am the proud new owner of a 87 starion, and the gas guage in the car dose not work, im not sure why dose anyone have any idea what the problem could possibly be? The last owner said that it just stopped working out of the blue one day.

Ahh yes, another FIP tuning topic
I've gotten her running pretty good after a bunch of datalogs and adjustments.
There's still 2 unresolved issues:
1. Still having a little trouble with HOT starts; she runs a little rough for a few minutes after re-starting
once hot. What is the best mixture for the hot start? Richer? Leaner? I know it's supposed to be extra rich when cold, but what about hot?
2. After lowering the VE numbers (in their corresponding bins), and turning the Decel. Enr
