I figure this is too obvious not to have been done before, so I searched, but didn't find much. Does anyone have any pictures, info, or experience regarding the conversion of a TBI intake manifold into MPI? From a high level, it seems like a reasonable alternative to a Magna for someone with access to a TIG welder and some basic machine tools. so this morning on my way to work i left a stop sign and tried hitting full boost in first and it just spudderd out really bad and lost power.. it does in 2nd too but not as bad.. seems that lately my car has been slow and sluggish. i can hit boost in higher gears but when there is a sudden load on the engine it cuts out.. i have rebuilt my tb. so i don't think its injectors. also there is no smoke coming from my exhaust.
