Balance shaft thrust plate
By tsi_tom,
I had the machine shop replace the bearing shaft bearings in my block. (My machine shop calls them bushings) The upper balance shaft has a thrust plate that bolts to the block. Should any part in in the thrust plate be replaced when rebuilding a motor? Should the thrust plate be taken apart and cleaned? I don't see a bearing in the parts manual for the thrust plate. Thanks, Tom
