can a bad battery cause only 1 light to go up'..?.. Only my left 1.goes up..they both went up yesterday..what can it b.?

So after having my SMB header crumble to bits after 1000 miles I decided to get a REAL header built. I contacted Bryson over at Boostwerks speed shop and gave him a challenge, build me a header with roughly the same dimensions as my old SMB header, make it bullet proof, make an exhaust flange with holes that line up and have it clear my oil filter housing. I have a 88 starion..what does the emergency exit lever do?.. I taught it released ur seatbelts..but nothin happens whn I lift it..wat does it do!?

Looking for the metal tube that runs from the clutch master cylinder to the rubber clutch line. Thanks.
