I have in my car a gm maf sensor, I want to swap to 2nd generation maf sensor. I have maf translator from one generation, does anyone know how to swap the wires from one generation to convert it to the 2nd? I don't want to spend anymore money and buy another 2nd generation maf translator.   Thanks

Well I don't have the time for this project. I really wish I did but what are you gonna do? Anyway it's a 87 quest TSI. 136,000 miles, black exterior, 5 speed. It's a little rough but is mostly complete and has a lot of potential. This is a local sale as the car is not running. The bottom end needs to be rebuilt. Body is in good shape. A couple dings here and there but nothing major. Could use new paint too. The car is located in garner, nc and will have to be towed. I really wish I could do som

anyone know any signs of a bad maf my car just all of a sudden started cutting out missfireing and sometimes work ok
