Ok, I havent tuned up the car yet (88 Conquest, bone stock) with all the (correct) parts (i.e. spark plugs, wires, PCV valve, fuel filters, etc), and my car cuts-out when I boost. If everything else checks out ok (including having good gas, new vacuum advance, clean distributor, all vacuum lines new, etc), is it possible that the wastegate solenoid (mounted on the air-can lid) is bad? What are the symptoms of a bad solenoid?

My rear strut is getting very bad just wanted to clarify that the rear D2 coilovers are an eay swap versus the front that require some modding of insert correct gentlemen?If I have to stagger the swap I will to get the rear end from bottoming out\. Any other threads that show the mod done for the fronts as the supplied intructions are just written...my mechanic always likes pics to go with when I go see him lol

Does anyone have contact info to whoever ended up with my '83? I was cleaning out a desk while getting ready to move and I came across all of the original paperwork including the owners manual and I think it should stay with the car.
