Does anyone make or have a machined plate anymore to block the distributor hole??? Needing another and looks like MK1 has finally sold out of those.

So at about 3500rpm I start to lose boost. I feel the boost up till that point, then it's like the turbo quits. The cars still accelerates, but without the boost. Now the history with this car- the previous owner put water threw it to run a test, and left the water in it- I'm wondering if there's rust possibly in there restricting the max boost. I've checked the cats, there's no restrictions that are in plan sight, I've checked all the vac lines, and don't see any that are cracked or not con

So I believe one of the first things a newbie needs to do is introduce himself so here goes.   Well I finally bought another conquest. Drove over 5 hours to get her. Waited over a month. My first Quest was a 89' , this one is a 88'. There are just a few issues that i have with this one that needs attended to. One is issues with the boost, the other is issues with the A/C.
