Ok so I've been thinking about this for awhile now and I'm feeling as though this is a stupid question but here goes- is the radiator hose while car idling so post to be hard? The car is up to temp and hose still hard. Hot as well,which its so post some what hot. I'm thinking that my thermostat is not opening up. What do y'all think? (Well know).

So I have been having problems with my power steering. I tried ordering one from rockauto but the hole for the elbow is too big. Mine is a 12mm as you can see in the pics. I have tried 2 units and both holes are bigger.
