I have a 88 quest i bought that had a sunroof that was not working. The motor would click. I found the the problem but I do not know how to locate a gear for it. I have no idea who made the sunroof or even where to find out. The gear is stripped that drives the cables. I see from looking around its called the sunroof drive gear. 87 Conquest with 88,000 miles. Engine mostly stock with some upgrades. Jet valves eliminated, steel head gasket, downpipe cat eliminated, stock turbo with very, very little end play. Timing chain and gears replaced alittle less than a year ago(adjusted once since). At idle whirring noise cannot be heard, idles smooth no misfires.
