Ok guys, having a little bit of an issue with my 86 flatty once again. It's having a hesatation issue when you rev it in neutral and when your driving under a load as well. If your in neutral, I can rev it up as high as I want if I slowly increase the throttle. If I stab the petal to the floor it will start sputtering at different rpms sometimes it will start at 1500 rpm and won't climb past. Well i have a newer jet valve head with good hydraulic lash adjusters with stock cam. I am aware no one wants a jet head but this one is not cracked and has few miles on it. Cam towers have very minimal wipe. This thing is clean enough to eat out of. I was loosing coolant thinking it was a blown head gasket or cracked head i removed it To find out my intake gasket was leaking around the rear coolant port. So good jet head i no longer need hows 100 plus ship?
