I bought a Honda for my college bound son, got a deal I could not pass up. I've been driving it for a couple months now just making sure all is well.   The car is a beater, hey it was $500! Owner thought he had catastrophic engine failure, all it had were bad plug cables and bad plugs. I spent $40 bucks to fix it.   Been procrastinating doing a complete service, thermostat, hoses, timing belt service etc. Today it bit me in the arse! Blew head gasket on the way to my in laws. Darn it!  

Not that Ive seen a million pumps but my buddys wifes heat wasnt working. We did the heater core, hoses, temp switch, and finally the pump last night. Nothing like throwing parts at a problem but I wish we would have started here lol. The car didnt overheat or show any signs of a bad pump but it was pretty obvious when we pulled it off.
