On 87-89 Raider/Montero or D50 automatic, they use an engine adapter plate which is approx 1/8" thick between the engine and transmission. Very similar to the manual trans one, which is quite thin. i have an 86 starion and i want to put an aftermarket cd plalyer but i cant get the factrory tape deck out so how do i take it out without damiging the trim pices

All right I posted this before a while back and nothing came of it. Basically I'm looking for junk parts to practice material removal on. Intake/exhaust manifolds, tb goosenecks, ect. Basically I'm going to teach myself how to (hopefully) polish and maybe even port things. Any advice on the proceedures would be appreciated as well (I have a dremmel and I'm not afraid to use it).
