    Tech question on Haltech

    Heron
    By Heron,
;D Hey guys, I found a Haltech F3 computer with all harness and etc... for a reasonable price. I need to know from you experts if this would work on our cars. I called Haltech and they told me that this is a old unit, about 10 years and parts are not easy to find, like temp sensor, if it brakes I wont have a way to fix it. Any knowledge on this? This unit also uses a MAT (manifold temperature) sensor, there is no trigger, I think I would have to buy one. Thanks, Heron

    By GiXeR,
I just bought Yokohama Avid H4,V4 online for the front of my 87 quest, i should be getting them in today(good thing because on my drive home from college today my front left went flat, which was a Continental, when i pulled in my garage ).  They are 225/50's, will these fit without any problems?  Has anyone ever had this type?   Thanks, Eric

    By skyquest89tsi,
i've just upgraded my coil to a crane cams fireball igniter.   it seems to pull better all the way to 6k now.   the car starts much easier.   the engine is quieter too. ( if QUIETER is a word.)   it also looks much gooder...i mean better. i painted it red to match my valve cover.

    ISTURBO aka Tyrrell Morris

    By Boosted_One,
ISTURBO aka Tyrrell Morris of CA. sold me a tranny. it was suppose to be an '88 manual tranny with low miles. This tranny cost me $580 shipped.   It took over a YEAR to get this tranny! When I finally get the tranny it was an '87 or older tranny! Supposingly Tyrrell was on the Starion Ralliart team. A person with this much background certainly KNOWS exactly what an '88 or '89 tranny is and knows exactly how it differs from an '87 so no it was not an honest mistake, nor was it an honest mistake
