Vacuum Advance Replacement Instructions

By BuzzKill,
Its a piece of cake. Should take less than 15 minutes to do:
1: Unclip the distributor pickup wire from the clip on the old vacuum advance
2: Disconnect vacuum line on the vacuum advance
3: Unscrew the 2 screws holding the vacuum advance to the distributor (they tend to fall and get lost easy - magnetic tipped screw driver recommended)
4: Unscrew and remove the distributor cap (leave spark plug wires attached)
5: Bend down the 2 triangle-shaped points securing the vacuum advance arm
SDS Sample Maps
By Shawn_Silva,
Anyone running SDS have any timing and fuel maps they can supply? Might be very helpful to myself and others on this GP coming up.
Thanks!
Take care

hydraulic to mechanical rocker conversion
By timdog,
Does anyone know the specs and pitfalls to doing hydraulic to mechanical rocker conversion on a 1987 Quest?
I've got the mechanical rockers already, but I don't know what the intake and exhaust back lash should be set at. I left the stock 87 cam in it too.
Please provide some insight.
Thanks,
Tim
