I got a 3.90 rear differential from David. he was a bit hard to get a hold of at first but he came through. he brought the differential from arizona with him and i went and picked it up from where he was staying.   he is an expert at differentials.

i just bought an 86 starion with the digital dash. my problem is that all the guages work but there isnt any lights. i can see every thing working but barely without any back light. the backlight on the digital display for the a/c works but not the instrument cluster. also when you first turn the key on it lights up between the temp in gas guage but shuts off when the readings pop on. and the only back light the works on the whole cluster is the odo. could it be a few bad bulbs or maybe a malfun

OK I need to get some info straight.  Is the computer needed to control ignition in an 86 car?  Like when using SDS without ignition control will the stock ignition work properly unplugged?
